Jones Scones were created because I grew tired of scones that tasted like compressed sand. After living in London England and Edinburgh, Scotland, I returned to the United States with a
longing for scones that no one could seem to satisfy. Out of sheer desperation (with thanks to Mom for teaching me how to bake as a little Jones), I created the scones I
desired. I made them, above all, MOIST, and more cakey than flaky, with currants, cranberries, blueberries, cinnamon, or chocolate nestled inside a mouthwateringly attractive crust.
Jones Scones
started as a company after the my scones were a hit with my friends and coffee shops in Denver, CO. Our plan is to spread the word about scones to the uninitiated and scone-scared: those people who
have suffered through a dry lump of baked dough masquerading as a scone. You'll find attached a brief history and description of scones just to give you a sense of what to expect as a scone connoisseur.
