  A Message from J. Jones, Founder of Jones Scones

My wonderful friend, my Food Angel, Amy Muzyka-McGuire told me many moons ago, that a company has to be about something more than just making money. It took a few years, but now I know what Jones Scones is all about.

We are here to Spread the Love. Spread it in as many ways as possible, to as many people as possible. Pure and Simple.

Jones Scones are a lovely way to give people that good feelin'. Food is love people...(remember care packages!?!)

Still as Jones Scones grows, we want to do more to express the spirit with which we approach this endeavor...to show what's in our hearts...

Starting in 2005, Jones Scones will award The Spread the Love Award monthly to a good samaritan who gives of themselves, asking nothing in return. This person, handpicked by our staff, or nominated by customers, will receive a Basket of Scone Love (Coffee, Tea, Jones Scones, Jams and Devonshire Cream), a U Rock Award,  and "Lil' Somethun Somethun".

The "Lil' Somethun, Somethun" offers them a chance to choose a Colorado adventure provided through the good graces of like-minded Colorado business owners.

Our goal is to have this person's efforts, and their cause, featured in the local media on a monthly basis as The Jones Scones Spread the Love Award winner. Their story and charity will also be featured on our website.

This is our way of giving back to those people who offer so much and, hopefully, encouraging others by their example.
