Jones Scones were created because J. Jones grew tired of scones that tasted like compressed sand. After living in London England and Edinburgh, Scotland, he returned to the United States with a longing for scones that no one could seem to satisfy. Out of sheer desperation, he created the scones he desired. He made them, above all, MOIST, and more cakey than flaky, with currants, cranberries, blueberries, cinnamon, or chocolate nestled inside a mouthwateringly attractive crust. J. Explains it. like this.... “My wonderful friend, my Food Angel, Amy Muzyka-McGuire told me many moons ago, that a company had to be about something more than just money or product.
